Our story

We’re the Lee family. Want to know something? This pretty picture doesn’t sum us up. We’re really a mess. We make one another cry, or fume, or pout. We break promises and fall short of perfection every day. But we love one another like crazy and recognize the real blessing of being a family unit, where forgiveness and goodwill can always be expected in the end. We know we’re deeply loved by God, and that is changing us. Without the support of these wonderful people, Woodcraft South would be a dream and not a reality.

We believe we’re being made new in the image of our Creator. For all of that truth’s deep and spiritual implications, there are also some flesh-and-bone applications. For one, I think God has planted a desire deep in the fiber of my being to make beautiful things that reflect His glory. I think the work of my hands can be made in a way that celebrates and honors His presence. And I think He is calling me to build something bigger than wooden products.

Woodcraft South is a creative design and production operation based in Woodstock, Georgia. It’s about getting out from behind a desk and working hard with head and hands. It’s about honoring God by living life to the fullest, being creative, making good stuff, creating community, and moving ahead.
